Cool to say that a short I scored won a Telly Award! It was a blast scoring it as I rarely get to do such quirky light and dark music.
The music is somewhat dark, but also mysterious and light at times, never getting too serious!
For all of those that asked, we have started to make transcriptions of the Ivory Dreams album! With the help of Anthony Green I am hoping to get half of the Ivory Dreams album transcribed and then potentially some of my newer tracks as well!
I will post news about them when I release them digitally.
Tricked my three year old into playing TMNT for the NES. He asked (NUMEROUS times..) what was wrong with the game because the controls were so bad.
Spoiled kids and their iPads :P
An iOS game I scored has recently been released! I got to write pirate music, Savannah music, fish music (whatever that is haha) and some jungle-y stuff too!
Join Eddy the Explorer and his flying house as he seeks high adventure in this five reel slot game!
Play four different amazing games! Sail the Seven Seas in Pirate Slots, scout wild animals in the savannah in Safari Slots, journey through the undergrowth in Jungle Slots, and scuba with the colorful critters in Under the Sea Slots!
Might possibly be the most interesting, entertaining, and captivating game I have ever played…
The first Bioshock was an amazing game. The second one was really good. Infinite is so far beyond what I even expected. I was so hyped for the game, and then let down because I thought it could never live up to my expectations…. So far it has exceeded them. I can’t even describe how amazing the game plays out
If you haven’t bought it or played it, go get a copy, or find a friend that has a copy. Heck even just watch videos online of it!
Late last year I was fortunate to meet Tom Richner, as veteran producer, animator, and director that also happened to teach at Columbus College of Art and Design (CCAD).
He asked if I would be interested in collaborating with his class that was producing a unique animated short. Fast forward a few months later (and a few minutes of quirky orchestral music later!) Lumin has been completed and nominated for a Telly Award!!
You can check it out by heading here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=041vCZ0c8yc
Looks like the word is out! I will be scoring an upcoming “The Gathering Dead” project(s)!
The Gathering Dead is a successful novel written by Stephen Knight that follows Major Cordell McDaniels as he leads a team of Special Forces into NYC to rescue a man who can stop the plague that reanimates the dead!
I am very much looking forward to working on this project as I have always been a fan of horror movies and zombie flicks!
Before my studio breaks for Easter here is a preview of something I was working on this week. Can’t wait to share the final product!
It is hopefully the start of a great collaboration with an accomplished author and producer!
Happy St. P’s day. This is me dancing outside a Great Clips to attract people to get their hair cut. Not sure how well it worked. Circa. 2007.
I am pleased to announce that Ravensword: Shadowlands has been nominated for a Game Audio Network Guild Award (G.A.N.G. Award) in the category of Best Handheld Audio!
You can hear a montage of the music by clicking here:
This is my fourth (or fifth?) nomination from G.A.N.G., and while it is exciting to think I could win, it is a loaded category with lots of other great composers and producers. Just getting this far with it is an honor!
Ravensword is published by Crescentmoon Games. Music by Sean Beeson, SFX by Jack Menhorn
I did an AudioBio last week to give my SoundCloud followers a peak into what I do and my smidge about my personal life.
Much to my surprise, they featured it on their blog! Very cool, and if you haven’t heard it yet, head on over and check it out.
PRETTY sure this show terrifies me. My kids don’t like it either apparently. The girl is actually ok, but the way the two guys look truly creep me out haha
Chilling in the studio with my monkey pipe and playing some tunes. This is what I do when I am loading my stuff up.
A game I scored has been released! Developed by Tiny Utopia, Epic Mech Wars has a few of my original tracks in it and was released for iOS devices last week.
If you like Mechs, my music, and RPGs, this has it all!! haha
Wrote this piece as part of a tribute video. Was hoping to create something uplifting, moving, and emotional. Enjoy!
I am going to be a guest speaker at University of Rio’s Music Technology and Entrepreneurship Conference, Saturday January 26 at the Berry Fine Arts Center.
I will be speaking alongside Bob Lord and Adam Bush, both also very accomplished musicians and businessmen. Looking forward to meeting new people and talking shop!

This is one of my favorite tracks from my Mecho Wars HD - Desert Ashes Soundtrack. The inspiration came from hearing bells in the distance. How surreal of a moment that would be to hear the sound of bells before or after the war! Hope to see this game come out in 2013!!386 plays
